What to Do Near Empire State Building

Flying into New York City, it’s easy to pick out the art deco inspired Empire State building in the vast skyline. One of which is Café China, a 1930s Shanghai-inspired Sichuan restaurant. Located on 13 E. 37th St., Café China is about a 6-minute walk from the Empire State Building. Looking down on NYC from the top of the Empire State Building is a breathtaking experience, but so is finding a cozy rooftop and seeing the Empire State Building at night with a cold cocktail. Top of the Strand, a short 5-minute walk from the Empire Building, is home to a gorgeous rooftop where you can grab a handcrafted cocktail and munch on a charcuterie board.
